How was your breakfast?
Food is what we eat to live. In English, we use different adjectives to describe how the food we eat tastes or smells. Today, we are going to look at just a few of them.
The first adjective is yummy, used to describe food that tastes extremely good.
The second adjective is filling. A filling is an ingredient or material used to fill something: for example, cotton in a pillow or meat in a pie. But when food is filling, it makes you feel full quickly.
The third adjective is appetizing. When food is appetizing, it makes you want to eat it.
The fourth and final adjective is delicious. It is a common word used to describe food that smells or tastes pleasant.
